During another walk in the woods with Pika, in the late afternoon, we came upon this stand of trees. A thicker one with a bunch of thin ones. It will need some time to dry as it's fresh. It should good to go in early February 2026.
An overcast day on Canyon Creek in Nicholson, BC. The snow was starting to fall and it felt fresh outside. We went for a short walk along the water to capture the moment. This piece will be framed in a custom floater frame (photo to come). It's still drying. It should be ready to go at the end of January 2026.
Another frequent visitor to our backyard bird feeders. The sides are painted cerulean blue. Will be available once dry around end of January.

The reference was taken in Lake Louise behind the shopping complex. Pika and I were going for a short walk on a quick stop while en route to Golden. This piece will be available once dry approximately at the end of January.
The apples from the trees in my yard were extra big this year after all the rain this summer. This piece was painted in my home studio. The painting is framed and ready to hang. Dimensions with the frame: 12"x14"
During a late afternoon run along the river, I turned around to get back to Mike & Pika and saw this scene. This spot is just north of the train bridge. Just finished this piece. It will be ready early February 2026 Borders are painted, no frame required.

Plein air sketch done on location north of Calgary. We were looking to paint some canola fields, but it was too late in the season. We found this old dilapidated barn by luck at the end of a random road.

The reference photo was taken behind the village of Lake Louise shopping complex while taking Pika on a short walk. We had stopped for a moment to go to Laggan's for some lunch on our way to Golden, BC. This piece was framed in a custom floater frame.

In the summer of 2024, we hiked along Mummery creek in hopes to get views of the glacier. The forest fires in BC we're starting to increase and the smoke was making for some interesting perspectives. This is in the Blaeberry area, near Golden, BC. We weren't able to cross the creek as the bridge was washed up. This piece was sold in a custom floater frame made in my garage.

A quick hike between the rain along the Elbow River in Kananaskis Country. It had been raining all week and we just wanted to bring Pika the black Lab on an adventure. We had a short window, but we manage to go out. Pika wanted to make friends with a black bear, but we said no. This piece is framed with a custom-made floater frame (made in my garage).
A hike to Gorman Lake with my dog Pika (near Golden. BC) The colours were absolutely brilliant. This piece comes with a custom-made cedar floater frame. The frame was built in my garage.
We had hiked to Gorman Lake near Golden, BC and the return trip, the view of the spires were awe inspiring. This spot was just before the scree field.
A late fall hike with Mike & Pika in the Golden area. The roads were muddy, the sun was setting. I was convinced we were going to get the truck stuck in the mud. We didn't. This piece will be available once dry. It takes approximately 3-4 weeks. It should be dry at the end of December 2025. Can be purchased earlier if sold locally and shipping not needed. While exploring Kananaskis country for future plein air painting locations, we came across this mountain trail crowned with autumn colours. The plan was to come back and paint it on site, but then the weather changed and made the outing impractical. Oil on gallery-wrapped canvas.
