I am a part-time artist that mostly paint landscapes with the occasional still life & pet portrait.

For each painting, I try to achieve bold & loose brush strokes and to capture the feeling of the scene.

My medium of choice is oil. I paint in studio or during the warmer months, you might find me plein air painting.

I currently live in Calgary, Alberta and work as a Registered Nurse in one of the busiest ER. I use painting as a type of meditation and self-care on my days off, where it's only me and the brush...and with the occasional visits from Kevin the cat or Pika the black lab.

I also have a passion for anything outdoorsy. You will often found me either hiking or biking in the Rocky Mountains. I find inspiration for the next project on almost every trip I take.

You will find my work across Canada (NB, PEI, Ontario, Québec, Alberta & BC), USA and in private collections in Calgary.

Sibbald Pond

Sibbald Pond is stocked with trout. We learned how to fly fish this past fall and decided to go try our luck at this location for our first catch. It was overcast, it was windy. The fish were there, but we couldn't cast far enough because of the wind gusts. We gave up after a couple hours. We still had fun and so did Pika. This painting was recently finished. It is still drying. Should be available at the end of February 2026.

The larches in the clear-cut.

There are a few clear-cuts along some of the forestry roads in BC. Not all trees get cut down. This aspect ratio might be one of my favorite size.
